Why is the Avalanche app on my Ledger Nano S 138 KB, while other blockchain apps like ETH, BNB, and Matic are only 2-50 KB? Avalanche is actually the largest, which means we cannot install ETH and Avalanche together on the Ledger Nano S. Is there a plan to reduce the size of the Avalanche app without compromising its functionalities?"
Currently, the Zondax team is working on creating a smaller App, No ETA yet but should be smaller to allow more room. Also, note that Ledger no longer sells the Nano S but we will try our best to accommodate the device.

Avalanche supports three chains, and many types of transactions (besides the regular sends there’s cross-chain, staking, delegation…). All of that takes a lot of space.
I ran into this last week trying to get a friend set up with a (not so old) Nano S. The app is just a tiny bit too big to fit. Would be useful to have a light version that just works for staking and other basic functions currently supported in the Avalanche Wallet.
