Project Sentinel Grid: Building the Tamper-Proof Infrastructure Layer on Avalanche

Hello Avalanche Builders & Community,

We’re Monza Tech, and we’re proposing to build Sentinel Grid—a core infrastructure layer designed to solve the trust and integrity gap in critical national infrastructure (power, rail, telecom).

Our platform fuses Predictive AI to anticipate system failures with cryptographic proofs to anchor operational logs to the blockchain. We are here seeking feedback on our Avalanche-first architecture.

The Problem We Solve

Legacy infrastructure logs (telemetry, maintenance records) are vulnerable, centralized, and lack verifiable integrity. This creates massive regulatory risk and prevents true RWA tokenization.

Sentinel Grid creates a Cryptographically Auditable Compliance Layer. We eliminate the trust deficit by proving that high-frequency data has not been tampered with since ingestion, leveraging Avalanche’s high speed and sub-second finality as the immutable settlement anchor.

Why Avalanche is Critical

Our system is designed for massive transaction volume (thousands of proofs committed daily). We believe Avalanche is the only platform that can meet our enterprise-grade requirements:

  1. Speed and Finality: We need $\leq 5 \text{ second}$ proof commitment latency for compliance. Avalanche’s consensus mechanism is ideal for handling this mission-critical speed.

  2. Subnet Scalability: Our long-term goal is to launch a dedicated Sentinel Grid Subnet optimized specifically for verifiable DePIN data commitments, allowing for custom fee mechanisms and isolated governance, which directly utilizes the core Avalanche CDK vision.

  3. RWA/Enterprise Focus: Avalanche is a leader in institutional DeFi and RWA adoption. Our project provides the necessary data integrity foundation (verifiable data) needed for the next wave of RWA and DePIN tokenization on the network.

Technical Discussion Points (Call for Feedback)

We are currently refining our commitment mechanism and would value the community’s technical input:

  1. C-Chain vs. Subnet: Should our initial Proof Commitment Contract (PCC) MVP deploy directly to the C-Chain for instant liquidity, or should we prioritize launching a minimal Validium-style Subnet immediately to prove scalable throughput?

  2. Commitment Logic: We are using Merkle Roots of batched logs and storing raw data on Filecoin/IPFS. Are there specific Avalanche tooling recommendations (like Oracles or Indexers) that can streamline the verification process for external auditors?

  3. Aethir Integration: We are exploring using Aethir’s decentralized compute for generating potential Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK-Proofs) of compliance off-chain. Has anyone integrated Aethir or similar decentralized GPU resources with an Avalanche Subnet for verifiable compute workloads?

Program Fit: Where Should We Apply?

We are preparing our formal application and are seeking community consensus: Do you think Sentinel Grid is a better fit for the general infraBUIDL() Program or the specialized infraBUIDL(AI) Program? We believe our fusion of AI and infrastructure aligns with both.

We are committed to building the infrastructure necessary to bring verifiable enterprise data to the Avalanche ecosystem.

(SORRY FOR THE LONG POST HEHE)

Cheers!!
