I had my avax staked until 12/02 but today I received a notice saying that funds are unstaked and being “Received” to certain address ahead of today’s date 12/08. Is this normal or how does this work? First time staking…

When you initiated the stake you chose how long you wanted to stake for. The default option is 15 days, but you have the option to set it to other amounts or the node max. The node max is listed in the node selection screen. Once your chosen stake duration has been completed your avax is unstaked. I usually set an event in my phone calendar to remind me that it’s unstaking that day.

Hi there - did you stake directly in Core or in a third party wallet? As another user mentioned, you selected the end date for the delegation when you originally created the transaction. What notice did you receive? Was it a push notification from Core that the delegation period ended, or from something else?
