Is it possible to extend the staking period or increase the staking amount?
There were times when I wanted to increase the staking amount but could not find how to do it.
It would be also useful to extend the staking period. I guess that would be less desirable at the moment since it would encourage validators/delegators to lock shorter periods.
You can’t extend the existing staking period, but you can delegate an additional amount separately.
I personally use veQI to fulfill my validator’s delegations though 
I do think it makes sense to be able to increase the validator weight (at least, there could be a certain percentage as a maximum amount)
Please let me know if it is precautionary, like to learn about it as well.
