Claimed staking rewards from core wallet P-Chain and sent to random wallet?

Just tried to claim my AVAX and rewards through my Core wallet, a year later after staking. I clicked on the P-chain and once I chose claim the wallet was emptied and my 335 avax are now gone and went to some random wallet it seems? What is going on here, whenever I’ve claimed rewards with any other app or wallet, they do not magically disappear and go somewhere else?

I seen this has also happened to another user a few days ago… not to mention I have downloaded and removed my chrome extension several times, it will still not connect to web browser, as well as I had to input my recovery phrase 5 times over and over until it finally logged me back into my wallet (each time the words were correct I triple checked). Core seems to have so many issues, can someone explain where my AVAX went to? Please.

If you staked AVAX, the tokens are locked on the P-Chain and won’t appear in your available balance until the staking period ends. After that, you need to manually unstake and then transfer the tokens from P-Chain to C-Chain if you want to send or trade them. Make sure you’re using the same wallet and checking the correct chain (P-Chain) in the Avalanche Wallet.
Alternatively, your keys might be compromised and you need to check that too.
