About us:

Dream DAO is a community-centric decentralized organization that molds the synergy between web3 technology and social impact. We channel our efforts into empowering a new generation of diverse, globally-spread Gen Z individuals :earth_africa::people_holding_hands:, equipping them with the skills, funding, mentorship, and opportunities necessary to leverage web3 for positive change.

Our Composition:

Our ecosystem is comprised of enthusiastic Builders :construction_worker_woman: (youth aged 15-20) and seasoned Champions :trophy: (veteran industry leaders), collaboratively driving the DAO’s mission forward.

We’ve established an empowering, knowledge-sharing series called “Learning Together” held twice a week with industry pioneers. We encourage builders to attend (and even host) IRL events, and provides opportunities to intern at impact-oriented web3 organizations.

Our Dream DAO Explorers Program is a two-month immersive internship for budding innovators, charting their path in the web3 x social impact space.

We facilitate inspirational gatherings, encouraging the integration of regenerative principles in web3.

Please explain how your project meets the round eligibility criteria:

Dream DAO has existed for over 2.5 years as of today. The organization is an ED3 DAO aiming to include Avalanche in its core learning programs, educating GenZ leaders about the Network and incentivizing Builders and Champions to leverage the ecosystem and their developments using AVAX tools.

How does your project benefit the Avalanche Ecosystem? Please mention any existing or upcoming partnerships:

Although we haven’t contributed to the Avalanche Ecosystem yet, we are interested in bridging our communities and hopefully, the AVAX community feels the same way. To benefit the ecosystem we plan on:

  • Introduce Avalanche to over 40 new builders during our Bootcamp, as well as use Avalanche Academy’ courses as a complementary key resource to our educational library; onboarding them to the AVAX community of ambassadors and developers;
  • Host open learning sessions to the Dream DAO community of members, alums, NFT holders, and followers (over 6k people) about Avalanche Ecosystem, increasing the awareness of our DreamerZ around the work AVAX has been doing;
  • Write a public guide on how to navigate through AVAX, translated into 3 languages (English, Spanish, and Portuguese) supporting global communities in understanding about the Network’s mission, accomplishments and resources;
  • Potentially (if AVAX agrees on) host a hackathon track on behalf of Avalanche during our, soon-to-be-launched, GenZ Accelerator, a 2-3 month “solvathon” where Gen Z teams create web3 public goods, with mentorship and funding support from the Dream DAO community.
