Following this tutorial: Mint ERC721 NFTs on Avalanche | NFT School

Cloned avalanchego repo and am trying to run build script. Was able to download dependencies but fail when build-avalanche.sh starts. Full error below:

Build command line arguments: Cannot load cmp: malformed module path: missing dot in first path element

Any help from community is greatly appreciated!! Also located in nyc and would interested in person meets to learn and troubleshoot avalanche systems.
